set portrait or landscape mode?

Using the DS160128CLCD-46 is there a way to specify if you want to use portrait or landscape mode?

I guess just use setRotation.  Manual said it was for graphics mode but I see it works with text as well.

 There is no text or graphic mode on graphic display, all text and graphs are displayed as pixel by pixel.
