OLED welcome screen doesn't show connection mode

I setup my OLED module in I2C mode (using jumper) and connected to microcontroller. When I power it up I can see Digole welcome screen with a blank area in the place where the connection mode should be.  What can be a reason for that?

It looks like I was using some old version of Arduino library. Using the most recent one from your website makes everything work fine.
