v5 vs v4.3 - what are the differences?

We've received a few 320x240 touchscreen modules that are running v5.0

The previous version we had was v4.3

If I run my code through them, the behaviour is different. Text alignment has changed.

In v4.3 using MIDDLE alignment (ALIGN\x01) aligns the text at the middle of the text position

In v5.0 using MIDDLE alignment aligns the text at the middle of the screen

Where could I find an updated PDF that describes the command changes and behaviour changes?

V5 improved the bootloader to be more robust.

Yes, the alignment in V5 is based on the draw window now, and due to the draw windows is full screen when power on, so your middle text will show in the middle of the screen.

The alignment function only affects the X position.

Digole changed the alignment to draw window because the current position always changes after drawing, and that is difficult for the user to maintain the position.

To align your text neatly, set a draw window, then output text in the window
