Unable to use display without being connected to the computer

 Hi,

I'm using an arduino Mega with a 240x64 monochrome display (UART serial connection).

Connected to the computer, everything is working. 

If I use the AC socket (9V DC), the screen is stucked at the end of the logo.

What I'm doing wrong ?

The maximum supply voltage is 5.5V. The on board MCU might be damaged if you apply 9V to it.

 Hi,

The screen is connected to the 5V pin, so this is not a trouble.

Pressing the reset button on the arduino is a solution.
