just a simple question : how can i do to clear a line of characteres or only a word on a line ?

 Another possibility is a way I do some of my clearing, which is setting up a window area and then clearing to background color. It avoids using the font rendering engine and allows the PIC to do fast pixel clears right on the display bus.

Here is one of my static data COMMAND SETs that I upload to the display flash, and call it when I want to do certain types of clears:

'B','G','C',0x82,

// set the drawing window to fill between the glyphs

'D','W','W','I','N',0x08,0x34,0x90,0x19,

// clear that area

'W','I','N','C','L',
