Hard reset 2.6 IPS with flash. What status after FW upload in Coolterm?

Hi,

Trying to upgrade my 2.6 IPS (no touchscreen)+Flash from 3.9C+flash status.

Did initial try but after FW upgrade screen is totally dark.

Tried the HARD reset until i got 'S' in Coolterm terminal.

Assume now in bootmode, but after FW upgrade, screen still totally dark. Backlight works as always.

What am i doing wrong?

After FW flash Coolterm Terminal shows "YG" what does this mean?

Still same black screen however.

Get Coolterm terminal "S".
Upload FW get "Y"

At the end get "G" and backlight goes on again.
No Digole welkom screen or anything else, just black screen.

Any additional commands needed to get the version of the software to be displayed? (9600?)

Ok tried again (after many tries).

Now on V4.2V+2MB Flash.

Two reason cause this problem if the display blank after power recycling:

1) Configuration disabled, use "DC1" to turn it on;

2) the display panel damaged.

Could you explain the feedback in termin Coolterm

S: bootload

Y: yes???

G: good???

N: no go?????

etc etc

Think having these status documented might help.
Even your "DC1"

For firmware upgrading success, you will see:

"SYG"

if you see "SN" means wrong firmare file used.
